B22 LED bulbs also known as BC or B22D or BA22D with dual contacts to replace Bus bulbs.
Many wall lights on Narrowboats use the domestic size (22mm diameter bayonet cap) light fittings. They can fitted with our low voltage version of the household bulb. These are commonly called 'Bus Bulbs' from their origins in the public transportation services. These B22 LED bulbs are ideal if you want to use any light fitting from the domestic market on your boat, caravan or off-grid cabin but connected to your battery supply! The B22 LED bulbs range can be used on any 12 volt and 24 volt DC lighting circuit. They will withstand charging voltages, voltage spikes and fluctuations. There are no polarity considerations. Plus they use just a fraction of the power of the incandescent original (typically a tenth). They are available in Warm White or Cool White across the range. They are also available with a smoked 'Golfball' style cover to make them more aesthetically pleasing if the bulb is directly visible.
