I live on a narrowboat and really like the stuff from Bedazzled. You can get cheaper LEDs on eBay but the Bedazzled stuff works so well, no radio interference or flicker, and it sounds like they have put some thought into the safety too. Each time I buy anything from them the “warm white” appears to get better and better. These do look a bit like tampons but otherwise will be really good to modernise the back cabin “oil” lamps whilst still giving a nice warm glow.

I have been ‘restoring’ old broken oil lamps, and this is the best bulb I have found for the job. Two 9v batteries wired in ‘series’, and a tiny switch, which is hardly noticeable…..brilliant! (pun intended)

Nice light output for domestic sourced downlighters, did find initially the contacts were a bit loose, original bulbs seemed to have stiff wire contacts, easy to cure, just give the contacts a very slight twist with fine nose pliers, now good.
